Basic Instincts

“Our (Human) basic Instincts are very similar to those of Animal Instincts”. When a Hound dog, a Wolf or for that matter a Tiger smells Blood, it readies itself for the kill and strikes with deathly accuracy.

Misery, Pain, Misfortunes, etc attracts humans like a carcass in the desert attracts vultures and other scavengers. Facts are stranger than Fiction. For instances ;
1. Prostitution ; one of the oldest professions on earth is supposedly one of the best revenue earners to the Govt. in Prague City or for the matter Amsterdam, Holland.


2. Wine & Beer shops in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, etc earned the State Governments amount in Tax Revenues.
3. The WTC (Ground Zero), The Taj, Mumbai Hostage, Delhi-Gwahati Serial bomb blast, etc are News Headline Items. We are dying for it and we quenched our thirst at it too.

4. The tragic and romatic story of Fiza and M. Chand (Deputy CM of Haryana) attracts the media and even Film Moguls line up to script, direct and produce the movie, preying on the Sad demise of a Love Forbidden by society.

5. All major Newspapers including but not limited to The Times of India, HT Times, The India Express, etc, “Celebrates The High Court's decision on Gay Right”. The atmosphere at Jantar Mantar must be definitely Jubilant and Gay. One wonders, “ Are we moving closer to Armageddon in time and space”. A very Unfortunate and at the same time Definitely Gay occasion in our history. The Bible's description and prediction of Sodom & Gomorah is completed Full and Final at last in India, yesterday.

6. The Murder of a son, daughter and mother by a psychotic husband makes better headlines than the Nuclear Deals between India and US. And, for that matter the rape of a North East BPO executive by Cabbies or local goons along the Gurgaon-Mehrauli road is being savor more willingly than the Career Guidances and Tips posted in the Times Ascent or Employment News..

7. We gawked, savor and stood in limbo at the site of a Biker/ pedestrian being mowed down by a DTC bus along the Ring Road. It never crosses our mind to pray for the departed soul or for that matter to carry the death body to the nearest hospital or call ambulance.

8. Human misery attracts money, power and the like. Look at the corrupt politicans scavenging on the carcass of the poor and the needy.

Twinkle Khanna's unzipping of Akshay Khanna's Levis Jean Zippers at The LIFW or Heidi Klum, Cate Moss or Naomi Campbell's Wardrobe Malfunction at The Spring-Summer Collection show in Milan or Paris finds better place in our mind and Intellectual souls more than the Publishing of “Count Your Chickens before it Hatched” by Choudhury or Salman Rushdie's “Midnight Children”.

I MEAN, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH US PEOPLE !!!!!!???!!!! In Theory and for all Practical purposes we do inherited certain traits that can be observed in Animals. Therefore ;
I'm an Animal ;
You are an Animal ;
We are Pig-headed ;
We are stupid like a Donkey ;
We are ugly Ducklings ;
We are as Cunning as a Fox ;
We are Dumb as an Ass ;
We are Proud as a Peacock ;
We are scared as a Chicken ;
We are as Hungry as Wolves ;
We are as Nosy as a Hound Dog ;
We are, Indeed All Animals.
