Dr. Tara is Ex- Chairman of ST Commission Manipur & Member Kuki Innpi Manipur. This Award is conferred because of her selfless service and contributions for the Kuki-Zo community. She has also stood firm and resilient in the hardest time. A commendable women leader for the Kuki-Zo tribals of Manipur and the world Kuki-Zo diaspora.
