Manipur Opens Online Applications for TET Paper-I

Imphal, July 6, 2026: The Directorate of Education (Schools), Government of Manipur, has invited online applications for the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) Paper-I for candidates seeking eligibility to teach Classes I to V in the state.

According to a notification issued by the department, the online application process will begin on June 18, 2026, and remain open until July 10, 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their applications along with the required documents through the official website of the Directorate of Education or the dedicated TET portal. The date and examination centres for the test will be announced separately.

The notification states that the eligibility criteria, syllabus, examination pattern and instructions for candidates have been uploaded on the official websites. The application fee has been fixed at Rs. 1,000 for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 500 for SC/ST and Differently Abled candidates. Fees must be paid online through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI, and once paid, the amount will be non-refundable.
