Massive fire breaks in Kohima

AIR NEWS KOHIMA, 19 March, 2024: Massive fire breaks out at Kitsubozou, Kohima razing down several houses.

A massive fire broke out today at Kitsubozou, Kohima which razed down several houses, leaving 14 families homeless while shops were also burnt down. Giving details of the incident, Officer-incharge of South Fire Station Kohima, Inspector Sedevizo Hibo said a total of six vehicles were burnt down and the cause of fire is suspected to have been from LPG leakage and further investigations are on. The officer informed that it took seven fire tenders from North and South Fire Station and a total of 14 trips to bring the fire under control. Besides the personnel from fire and emergency services, security personnel, disaster response force and other organizations were involved in bringing the fire incident under control.
