Mr. Satkhohao, the town commander of the United Kuki National Army (UKNA), was reportedly shot dead by unidentified gunmen today in Churachandpur, Manipur.
The UKNA is a group not involved in the Suspension of Operations (SoO) agreement. The SoO is a ceasefire pact signed by three parties - Centre (Government of India), State (Government of Manipur,) and the KNO-UPF group. Further details are awaited.
