BENGALURU: The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has confirmed two cases of Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV) in Karnataka through routine surveillance. Both cases, detected at Bengaluru Baptist Hospital, were identified as part of ICMR’s ongoing monitoring of respiratory illnesses across the country.
