Five arrested over viral video showing Armed Men at Football Match

Manipur Police arrested five individuals on 12.02.2025 in connection with a viral video circulating on social media platforms like YouTube, WhatsApp, and Facebook. The footage showed 10-15 individuals in camouflage and football kits holding sophisticated weapons at K. Gamnomphai Village Ground during an ongoing match in Saitu Sub-Division, Kangpokpi District.

The arrested individuals have been identified as:

2. Mangtinlen Kipgen (24)
3. Seithenmang Kipgen (28)
4. Lunminsei Kipgen (21)
5. Lunkhogin Kipgen (24)
