Journey

📌 1934 (March 23) – Born in Somdal village, Ukhrul district, Manipur to Shangkathan and Luimala Muivah.

📌 1950s–60s – Studies at DM College (Imphal), Union Christian College (Shillong), and Cotton College (Guwahati), completing his Master's degree.

📌 1964 – Joins the Naga National Movement after a final prayer with his parents, telling them: "I sacrifice my life for my people."

📌 1973 – Returns briefly to Somdal during church dedication but remains hidden in the jungle with comrades. This is his last visit home.

📌 1980 – Becomes a founding member and later General Secretary of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN).

📌 1997 – Plays a key role in signing the Indo-Naga ceasefire agreement with the Government of India.

📌 2015 – Leads NSCN (IM) in signing the Framework Agreement with New Delhi.

📌 2025 (October 22) – Scheduled to return to Somdal village after more than 50 years, marking a historic homecoming.
