The Zeliangrong Baudi (ZB-AMN), the Zeliangrong Youth Front (ZYF-AMN), and the All Zeliangrong Students’ Union (AZSU-AMN) extend our deepest gratitude to the NSCN/GPRN for lifting the ban and the “de-recognised” status placed upon the Zeliangrong apex bodies. This significant step fosters unity and strengthens the collective spirit of the Zeliangrong Naga community across Assam, Manipur and Nagaland. We view this as a positive move toward maintaining peace and mutual understanding within the Naga family. Our organizations remain committed to advocating for the cultural, social and political aspiration of our people, and we look forward to working collaboratively for peace and progress.
On 16th July 2018, the NSCN-IM imposed this ban, which weighed heavily on the spirit of our people. However, this act of revocation is not merely an administrative decision, but a mark of healing and an acknowledgment of the sentiments of the Zeliangrong community. It marks a step towards restoring dignity, unity, and peaceful co-existence within the Naga family and signals the beginning of a shared journey towards common hope. We profoundly appreciate the wisdom of the Collective Leadership and the tireless efforts of the Coordination Committee of the Zeliangrong Region, whose dedication and commitment has finally brought about an end to this long and painful chapter.
