Kuki Inpi Manipur Extends Lui-Ngai-Ni Greetings, Calls for Peace and Harmony

Lamka, Feb 15, 2026: Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM), the apex body of the Kuki tribes, has extended warm greetings to all communities on the occasion of Lui-Ngai-Ni, the seed-sowing festival celebrated across the region.

In a greeting message issued by CH. Ajang Khongsai, President of Kuki Inpi Manipur in February 14, the organisation conveyed its sincere wishes for blessings, good health, peace, and prosperity to every family and community celebrating the festival.

The statement highlighted the importance of nurturing understanding and harmony among communities, noting that relationships require care and mutual respect. KIM appealed to people to choose peace, patience, and cooperation, emphasizing that the Nagas and Kukis have shared the land for generations and that the future depends on unity and understanding.

The organisation also urged everyone to ensure safe, free, and peaceful movement of people during the celebrations, stressing that no individual should face fear or difficulty while participating in the festival.

Referring to Christian values, the message encouraged people to be guided by love, forgiveness, and reconciliation. KIM expressed hope that Lui-Ngai-Ni would strengthen unity, goodwill, and lasting peace among all communities.
