The Union Home Minister reviewed the initiatives undertaken by the state government and assured full cooperation from the Centre to restore normalcy and ensure long-term development.

Special emphasis was laid on the rehabilitation and early resettlement of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). The Union Home Minister assured that the Government of India would extend every possible assistance to support the rehabilitation process and overall welfare of the affected families.

Taking to X after the meeting, Chief Minister Khemchand said he had the privilege of calling on the Union Home Minister in New Delhi, accompanied by the two Deputy Chief Ministers. He described the discussion as detailed and constructive, covering measures for peace, stability, rehabilitation and progress. He further stated that the Home Minister conveyed firm assurance of all necessary support from the Union Government to ensure early resettlement of IDPs.
