The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2026 notification, inviting aspirants to apply for one of India's most prestigious recruitment exams.
The online application process began on 4 February 2026 and will continue until 24 February 2026 for a total of 933 vacancies across services like IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS and more.

🎓 Educational Qualification
To be eligible, candidates must have:
• A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in India or an equivalent qualification.
• Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply provisionally, provided they submit proof of passing before the Main Examination.
🎂 Age Limit and Relaxation
• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age (General): 32 years
• OBC: Up to 35 years
• SC/ST: Up to 37 years
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Up to 42 years
Additional relaxations are available for ex-servicemen and other special categories as per government rules.
💸 Application Fee
UPSC has retained its traditional fee structure:
• General / OBC / EWS (Male): ₹100
• SC / ST / PwBD / All Female Candidates: No fee (exempted)
