The Kuki Women Organisation for Human Rights (KWOHR) expresses its deepest outrage and unequivocal condemnation of the heinous, barbaric, and cold-blooded murder of Mrs. Tinneilhing Baite of B. Goshen Veng. Her lifeless body was discovered at Muolvaiphei on 13th April 2026 at approximately 11:00 AM—an appalling act of brutality carried out in broad daylight, exposing the alarming collapse of safety in our society.
This monstrous crime is not merely the loss of an innocent life; it is a grave assault on humanity, womanhood, dignity, and the very foundation of justice and law. Such acts of violence against women are intolerable and reflect a deeply disturbing rise in lawlessness and impunity that demands immediate and uncompromising action.
KWOHR calls upon the concerned authorities to treat this case with the utmost urgency and seriousness. We demand a swift, transparent, and thorough investigation, and the immediate identification, arrest, and prosecution of the perpetrator(s). There must be no delay, no negligence, and no excuse—justice must be delivered without fail and without delay.
