Imphal, April 10, 2026: A police summon has been issued to Michael Lamjathang of Imphal West district, directing him to appear before the Officer-in-Charge of Imphal Police Station.
According to the official document issued under Section 179 of the BNSS, Lamjathang, son of T. Lhunkholet and a resident of A/P Hotel Imphal, has been asked to appear at the Imphal Police Station, Imphal West, Manipur, on April 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
The summon states that his presence is required for recording his statement in connection with an enquiry related to GD Entry No. 16/IPS/2026 dated April 9, 2026. Authorities have warned that failure to comply with the summon may lead to stringent legal action against him.
The notice was issued from Imphal and bears the signature of the Officer-in-Charge, Imphal Police Station.
