Churachandpur DC Visits Relief Camp, Holds Medical Camp

LAMKA, Aug 28, 2026 (DIO): Deputy Commissioner Shri Krishna Kumar, IAS, today visited Pre-fabricated Relief camp at T. Bethlehem under Tuibong Sub-division.  A medical camp was organized for the inmates at the relief camp by the Chief Medical officer, Churachandpur Dr. Henkhoneng Mate under the aegis of the District Administration, Churachandpur.

As part of the visit, Shri Krishna Kumar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Churachandpur, distributed Fire-extinguishers to the residents during the site visit and assures to extend all possible assistance and continued support. Under the direction of the Deputy Commissioner, Series of Medical Camps is also being planned for other relief camps in the coming weeks.

The district administration is closely monitoring the conditions of the Relief Camps including the  Pre-fabricated Relief camps with a strong purpose to ensure all possible support, including relief assistance to the inmates through the Sub Divisional Officer concerned.

The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Shri Seiminthang Lenthang, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Churachandpur, Shri Jangminlen Lupho, SDO Tuibong, and Dr. Henkhoneng Mate, Chief Medical Officer and other line staff.
