New Delhi, Aug. 6, 2026: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed six new party functionaries as AICC Secretaries attached to the AICC In-charge for Uttar Pradesh with immediate effect.

According to a press release issued by AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal on Thursday, the newly appointed or reassigned AICC Secretaries are Abhishek Dutt, Kunal Choudhary, Jagdish Chander Jangid, Sanjeev Arya, Varun Choudhary, and Abdul Hannan.
The party also expressed its appreciation for the services rendered by the outgoing AICC Secretaries attached to the Uttar Pradesh In-charge. Those relieved of their responsibilities are Dheeraj Gurjar, Nilanshu Chaturvedi, Pradeep Narwal, Rajesh Tiwari, Satyanarayan Patel, and Tauquir Alam.
The appointments take effect immediately as part of the Congress party's organisational restructuring in Uttar Pradesh.
