LAMKA, August 6, 2026: The Zomi Re-unification Organisation [ZRO] has invited its Cabinet and Executive members to attend the ‘Thupha Tawina (Atonement) Ceremony’ scheduled for August 6, 2026 at 2:30 PM.
The ceremony will be performed by Pu V. Hangkhanlian, Ex-Minister at the residence of the President, ZRO, Dorcas Veng, New Lamka.
According to the invitation issued by Khenchin, Secretary, GAD, ZRO, participants have also been requested to partake in the ceremonial meal following the programme.
The ‘Thupha Tawina’ or Atonement Ceremony is a traditional Zomi practice of seeking forgiveness, reconciliation and blessings for the community.
All concerned Cabinet and Executive members of ZRO have been cordially invited to witness the event.
