Founding President of  the Thangkhal Peoples' Organisation (TPO), Manipur

Pu Khuphenpau, President of the Thangkhal Peoples’ Organisation (TPO), founded in 1978, unveiled the foundation stone of the first Thangkhal church, the Thangkhal Christian Association, at M. Tanglian village on 4 April 1981. The foundation stone bears the guiding verse: “God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:24).
