Manipur Invites D.El.Ed. Applications for 2026-2028 Session

IMPHAL — The Directorate of State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Government of Manipur, has officially released an admission notice September 7, 2026, inviting applications for the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) program for the 2026–2028 academic session.

Candidates can apply online through respective institute websites or submit offline applications directly to one DIET centre or HTTI of their choice.

Important Dates & Entrance Examination

• Issue/Submission Start Date: September 10, 2026

• Last Date of Application Submission: September 26, 2026 (up to 04:30 P.M.)

• Entrance Test Date: October 04, 2026 (Sunday)

• Examination Timing: 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.

Eligibility Criteria

• D.El.Ed. Course: Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks for General candidates and 45% marks for OBC, ST/SC candidates from a recognized Board/Council.

• D.El.Ed. Course (Hindi): Passed 10+2 with Hindi as an Elective subject or M.I.L., OR passed 10+2 along with Kovid, securing a minimum of 50% marks for General candidates and 45% marks for OBC, ST/SC candidates from a recognized Board/Council.

Selection Process & Reservation
Selection for the program will be strictly based on candidate merit in the Admission Entrance Test. Seat allocation will adhere to the State Reservation rules for admission.
