TAMENGLONG, September 6, 2026 — In accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, the Electoral Registration Officers for 52-Tamei (ST) AC and 53-Tamenglong (ST) AC published the Final Photo Electoral Rolls 2026 today. The publication follows the schedule fixed by the Election Commission of India (ECI) via letter No. 23/2025 ERS (Vol II) dated May 14, 2026, set in connection with the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), 2026, using July 1, 2026, as the qualifying date.
The revision process began on May 30, 2026, following ECI standard operating procedures and guidelines transmitted through the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur. The SIR phase included distributing enumeration forms, collection, digitization, polling station rationalization, document verification, hearings for unmapped or logically discrepant self/progeny cases, claims and objections disposal, photo quality checking, and e-roll validation.
