Thangkhal youth receives Google Award in Singapore

A Manipuri youth Mr Ginmuanlal Khongsai @ Muanneu received the prestigious award Google Online Marketing Challenge 2017 Asia Pacific Region Winner in Singapore on 12 January 2018.

Muanneu received the award from Mrs Lorraine Twohill, Google Senior Vice President, Global Marketing at it's Asia Pacific Headquarters in Singapore.

This young lad is said to be the only one known so far to receive this prestigious award from Manipur State in the northeast India.


Hailing from a Thangkhal village, M Tanglian in Churachandpur district of Manipur, Muanneu is presently working as an assistant professor (commerce) in Maitreyi College, Delhi University.

He is well known and actively involved in Delhi’s Zomi Christian Fellowship church. A devoted and honest young professor, who volunteered himself as a Sunday school teacher in Zomi Christian Fellowship.
