Zalaikam, a young talent from Saikul, Northern Kukiland, has been selected as a Rising Star for BGIS 2025 LAN Event in Kolkata – becoming the first-ever player from the Kuki E-Gaming Community to reach this milestone.
BGIS (Battlegrounds Mobile India Series) or PUBG as most people know is a major national-international E-Game and Zalaikam's entry into the LAN Event is not just a personal achievement – it's a win for all of us. He's representing the hills, his team, and the entire community of dreamers and gamers from our region.
It's time we start recognising Esports as more than just a hobby. Though many elders may not yet see it as a career, it's our responsibility to show that dedication, talent, and hard work in gaming can bring success and pride.
