The Central Village Defence Force (CVDF) strongly condemns the unruly and shameful behavior of certain miscreants who dismantled a section of the decorations installed in Lamka to welcome the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India on his maiden visit. Such actions are disgraceful and intended to malign the image of CVDF and the Zomi community.
CVDF expresses deep pain at these deliberate acts, reportedly perpetrated by individuals outside our operational areas, who are bent on creating a false and negative impression of our organisation and the Zomi community. We urge all right-thinking citizens to reject disruptive behavior that goes against unity, dignity, and hospitality.
At this historic juncture, the CVDF warmly and wholeheartedly welcomes the Hon'ble Prime Minister to Lamka. During this historic visit, we reaffirm our commitment to extend cooperation to the security forces and the district administration to ensure foolproof security arrangements and a peaceful, dignified atmosphere.
The CVDF takes pride in honouring the nation's leadership and will not allow a few's destructive conduct to overshadow our people's collective goodwill.
