Office of the
KUKI LIBERATION ARMY-LETKHOLUN (KLA-L)
Government of Kukiland
17th October 2025
PRESS RELEASE
The formation of the new Manipur government necessitates a collective resolve to stand firm on the principle of Separate Administration. Any participation in this process without a unified stance would not only undermine our struggle but also invite repercussions from Non-SoO groups, most notably, the KLA-L and the UKNA. It is crucial that we prioritize the greater good over personal interests and present a united front to achieve our objective.
A fragmented approach would play into the hands of the Central government, allowing them to exploit our divisions and undermine our collective efforts. We must learn from past experiences and recognize that a cohesive stance is essential to negotiating from a position of strength. By standing together, we can ensure that the sacrifices of our kin are not rendered futile and that our struggle remains focused on the ultimate goal of Separate Administration.
In this critical juncture, it may be opportune for leaders from across CSOs and non-CSOs spectrum to reassess their roles and consider yielding to fresh perspectives. Leaders above 65 years of age may consider stepping aside, enabling new leadership to bring renewed energy and innovative thinking to our struggle. By embracing change and working collectively, we can strengthen our pursuit of Separate Administration and bring us closer to our goal.
