The Arakan Army (AA) reported that heavy military operations carried out by the junta regime over three days — from October 29 to 31, 2025 — resulted in the deaths of 31 civilians and injuries to 41 others across several parts of Rakhine State, Myanmar.
According to the AA's information desk, the junta's attacks targeted Rathedaung, Ponnagyun, Pauktaw, Sittwe, and Kyaukpyu Townships. The offensive included aerial bombardments, naval shelling, and artillery fire, striking homes, villages, and public areas. Many civilians, including women and children, were killed or severely injured, with several in critical condition.
The AA described the attacks as "fascist terrorist actions" by the defeated military council, aimed at instilling fear among innocent people.
