𝐒𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐮𝐤𝐢, A respected lawyer and long-time member of KSOD, Adv. Seilenmang has devoted years of service to student and community causes. Currently working with KOHUR (Kuki Human Rights), his legal expertise plays a vital role in defending our people’s rights and strengthening institutional advocacy. His experience is invaluable, and his commitment to the community is unquestionable. Yet, as a lawyer, his focus and time are often drawn toward human rights work — an area where his skills are most needed and impactful.

𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻 𝗞𝘂𝗸𝗶, a former President of KSOD, is known for his dedication, humility, and readiness to serve in any responsibility entrusted to him. During his tenure, he built valuable connections and maintained a cooperative relationship with various student and community leaders. His willingness to act and contribute whenever called upon reflects his genuine commitment to the cause. However, while his enthusiasm is commendable, he sometimes struggles with firm decision-making and could strengthen his leadership through greater focus on education and strategic direction.

𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗞𝘂𝗸𝗶, the current Education Secretary of KSOD, also previously served as an executive member of KSO Imphal, where he gained valuable organisational experience. Known for his sincerity and strong sense of responsibility, he carries a genuine burden to serve the community in his own way, often stepping forward to support educational and social initiatives. His commitment and energy make him a dependable team player. However, his short temper remains a weakness that sometimes affects his composure, an area he continues to work on improving.

𝐍𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐮𝐤𝐢, a passionate student leader and an IDP from Langching, has been actively involved with KZWFD and KSOD. Once a favourite to be the KZWFD Convenor, she unfortunately couldn’t contest due to age limits, yet she never stepped back in any way from her efforts to serve her people. Her resilience, strong communication skills, and readiness to reach out wherever the community needs her have made her a respected voice among the youth. As a student and displaced individual, she leads with compassion, courage, and integrity.

The other candidates have also contributed in their own meaningful ways—some working quietly behind the scenes, others taking the lead in organizing, mobilizing, and guiding the youth. Each has shown a level of dedication that truly deserves appreciation.

If I were to make a personal choice, I would stand with someone who has proven their commitment through action—someone who has sacrificed, spoken the truth without fear, and earned the people’s trust through genuine service. From what I have observed, Nengneiting Khongsai embodies those qualities. She carries not only the essence of leadership but also the compassion and determination that the KSOD needs at this crucial time.
