A mortar bomb exploded in the Kuki-dominated Molnoi area near Pallel on Saturday (20.12.'25) afternoon, injuring three children who were reportedly handling the explosive device.
The incident occurred at around 1:30 pm. The injured children were immediately rushed to the 26 Assam Rifles Sector Headquarters in Pallel for medical treatment.
Army doctors are attending to the injured, and sources said the children are now out of critical condition.
