Lamka, 10 Jan 2026: The Zomi Students' Federation (ZSF), General Headquarters in New Lamka, has issued a strong press release urging Kuki-Zo people to shun participation in Manipur's government formation. The statement, from ZSF's Information & Publicity Wing, decries ongoing Meitei-led aggression, including church burnings and village attacks, rendering coexistence impossible.
ZSF echoes the Kuki-Zo Council's resolution, demanding a separate administration like a Union Territory. It warns that any involvement by MLAs or leaders betrays the collective will amid ethnic strife displacing thousands.
