At 87 years old, Pi Vanziki of Bazar Veng, Lunglei, Mizoram, still rises early every morning with a broom in her hand. She sweeps not only the front yard of her home but even the opposite side of the public road.
She is the wife of the late Dr. Hranghrima (Dr Lip). Quietly and faithfully, she serves her neighbourhood—without wages, without applause, and without complaint.
Her actions speak louder than any speech.
Her discipline shines brighter than recognition.
Her life gently reminds us that responsibility never retires.
If she can serve her community at 87, what excuse do the rest of us have?
