Pherzawl, May 21, 2026: The District Administration of Pherzawl on Thursday continued its outreach programme under the Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan – “Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle” at Damdiei and Ankhasuo villages, with large numbers of residents participating in the welfare and awareness activities conducted by various departments.
Villagers, including school children, actively took part in the programmes organised during the outreach drive. A tree plantation campaign was also held to promote environmental awareness and encourage community participation in conservation efforts.

As part of the initiative to bring essential services closer to the people, Aadhaar enrolment and updation facilities were provided during the programme. Facilitation counters were also set up to assist residents in obtaining important government documents such as caste certificates and other official records, reducing the need for villagers to travel long distances for basic services.

The Health Department organised a health screening camp where villagers received basic medical check-ups and health consultations. Enrolment drives for Chief Ministergi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) health cards were also conducted to improve healthcare coverage among rural households.
The outreach programme forms part of the government’s efforts to ensure that welfare schemes and public services reach people living in remote areas.
