EULOGY TO OUR FALLEN HEROES
Mr. Letkhongam Haokip (34, S/o Mr. Manglun Haokip and Mrs. Lhingkim), his wife Mrs. Tin Mary Haokip (30, D/o Mr. Thongkam Tuboi and Mrs. Nemjalhing) and Mr. Jangminlal Haokip (34, S/o Mr. Seikhohao Haokip and Mrs. Vahlam ) of Loibol Khullen, Senapati District, Manipur
Cause of Death:
Incinerated to death by NSCN-IM and ZUF (K) militants on 5th June 2026 (Friday)

- In a gore unfurling of genodical mission against the Kuki-Zos, a small village called Loibol Khullen tucked in the Senapati-Kangpokpi border, was egregiously attacked around 4 am on 5th June, where three innocent civilians caustically lost their lives.
- What heightens the bloodcurdling terror is that Mrs. Tin Mary was 7 months pregnant. The victims were benignant people who pursued a peaceful life, while faithfully serving their church and society.
Their charred and mortally wounded bodies testify the scale of visceral agony they had incurred.
- Seven houses were reduced to ashes by the armed terrorists.
- This attack tallies the jingoistic hatred impinged on the Kuki-Zos where even pregnant women, the aged and children are not absolved.
- It imputes how the reconciliatory attempts by our Kuki CSOs and political leaders have been flagrantly rejected by the Naga groups.
- May the families find solace in the Lord; and may their deaths ignite our senses towards our fight for our ancestral land.
May their souls rest in peace!
