Lamka, June 20: The Indigenous Tribal Leaders’ Forum (ITLF) has officially announced the results of its election for office bearers for the 2026–2027 term. The election was conducted on June 19 at the ITLF Office, KIC Complex, Tuibuong.
According to the announcement, the election was held through a democratic process with the mandate of its constituent bodies. The newly elected office bearers are:
- Chairman: Pu K. Lalbiaksanga (MPC)
- Vice Chairman: One representative to be designated by KIC
- Secretary: Elder Dr. Thangsuolien Sinate (HI-Tuithaphai Region)
- Joint Secretary: Pu Felix Suanmuanthang Tungnung (UZO)
- Finance Secretary: Pu Th. Ngamboi Baite (VPC)
- Treasurer: Pu H. Manga (GTU)
- Information Secretary: Pu Ngamlet Mate (MTU)
- Women Wing Convenor: Pi Vary Vahboi Baite (KWU)
- Spokesperson: Pu Ginza Vualzong
In a statement issued on behalf of the ITLF Presidential Council, Coordinator Thangzamang congratulated the newly elected team and expressed confidence that they would continue working for the aspirations, rights, and welfare of the Kuki-Zo people.
The council also wished the new office bearers success, wisdom, and strength as they begin their responsibilities for the coming term.
