Justice Before Pardon
The Kuki Women Organization for Human Rights (KWOHR) firmly rejects the Manipur Home Minister's proposal to pardon members of Arambai Tenggol. Offering pardon before delivering justice is not an act of reconciliation - it is a betrayal of every Kuki-Zo woman who endured violence, rape, and loss.
Before any talk of forgiveness, the government must answer this question: What message does it send to victims when those accused of committing some of the worst crimes against women are considered for amnesty while justice remains denied?
