The Kuki-Zo Village Volunteers Sadar Hills (KZVV-SH) hereby reiterated that the KZVV-SH will not back down in defending against the threats posed by armed groups such as the NSCN (IM) and its proxy, the ZUF (Kamson Faction), which continue to endanger the lives, security, and future of our people.
The KZVV-SH remains unwavering in its commitment to defending our communities, safeguarding our ancestral lands, and upholding the rights, dignity, and security of the Kuki-Zo people. Any individual or group found to be collaborating with, supporting, or siding with these armed militants will be dealt with severely. Appropriate and decisive measures, including pre-emptive actions where necessary, will be undertaken to ensure the safety and security of our people and territories.
Those responsible for this cowardly act must be held fully accountable, and every effort aimed at undermining the security and integrity of our homeland will be firmly opposed. No amount of violence or intimidation will weaken our resolve or deter us from our duty.
Lastly, the Kuki-Zo Village Volunteers express profound grief and deep outrage over the loss of our brave volunteer, who laid down his life in the service of his people and in defense of the Kuki-Zo ancestral homeland. We pay our highest tribute to his courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication. His martyrdom will forever be remembered as a testament to the spirit and resilience of our people.
