SINGNGAT, June 17, 2026: A Shaktiman truck reportedly met with an accident on Guite Road in the Sihphenglui area of Singngat Sub-Division, Churachandpur district, Manipur, on the night of June 16, 2026.
According to sources, the accident was caused by a brake failure, resulting in the vehicle losing control. Four occupants of the truck sustained injuries in the incident.
The injured persons were immediately taken to the Community Health Centre (CHC), Singngat, for medical treatment. Sources said that none of the injured is in serious condition, and all are reported to be stable.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available. Authorities are expected to conduct an inquiry into the incident.
