Imphal, July 27, 2026: The Government of Manipur has declared a half-day holiday (after noon) on Tuesday, 28 July 2026, for all government offices, educational institutions, public sector undertakings (PSUs), corporations, and autonomous bodies across the state.
According to an order issued by the General Administration Department (Records & Library Section), the holiday has been announced to enable employees and the public to witness the inaugural match of the 135th Durand Cup 2026 at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium, Imphal.
The order was issued in the name of the Governor of Manipur and signed by Thokchom Bedajit, Joint Secretary, General Administration Department.
