ZSP-GHQ Urges Status Quo on College Principal

Lamka, July 06, 2026: The Zou Sangnaupang Pawlpi–General Headquarters (ZSP-GHQ) has called for maintaining the status quo in the ongoing controversy over the Principal of Churachandpur Government College (Autonomous), urging the authorities not to make any changes at this stage.

In a press release issued on Sunday, the students' body said abrupt changes in the college's leadership could disrupt academic and administrative continuity and adversely affect the institution's stability. It stated that several developmental initiatives are currently being carried out under the incumbent Principal and argued that any change in leadership at this time would not be in the best interest of the students or the college.

ZSP-GHQ appealed to the concerned authorities to refrain from making any changes until a duly appointed regular Principal assumes office, stressing that preserving stability is essential for the smooth functioning and continued development of the institution.
