LAMKA, August 22 (DIO): A Public Notice issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Churachandpur has informed that Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India is inviting nominations to all interested and eligible tribal women entrepreneurs of Churachandpur district for particiapation in the National Conclave “Ummeedon Ki Udaan – Rani Durgavati Adivasi Mahila Sammelan” .
The eligibility criteria are, must be a woman belonging to a Scheduled Tribe (ST) community (ST/PVTG certificate required), must be a permanent resident of a Scheduled Area or a subdivision/block with significant ST population, between 18 and 60 years, at least Class VIII (relacable upto Class V for PVTG nominees), hold legal ownership and exercise direct operational management of the enterprise for at least three years (one year for PVTG nominees), must maintain an active bank account in her own name, must not have any criminal conviction and shall submit a self-declaration to this effect and formally registered enterprises (Udyam/TRIFED/VDVK/DIC/GI Tag etc.)
The notice stated that those interested
individuals fulfilling the given criteria and engaged in activities such as
“Minor Forest Produce (MFP) collection and processing, Handloom and tribal
textiles, Handicrafts and indigenous arts, Pottery, Bell-metal crafts and
paintings, Agriculture and
horticulture-based enterprises, food processing and tribal food products,
herbal products, Eco-tourism and ethno-tourism homestays and other innovative
tribal enterprises” may submit their applications addressed to ‘The Deputy ‘Commissioner, Churachandpur’
along with requisite documents on all working days between 11.00 am to 4.00 pm
on or before 31st August, 2026 at room no. FF10, DC’s Office,
Mini-Secretariat, Tuibong, Churachandpur or via official email: dc-ccp@nic.in for further consideration.
