LAMKA, August 16,. 2026: The Kuki Students’ Organisation (KSO), Churachandpur, has condemned what it described as an alleged incident involving Central Security Forces at PC Nursing Home, a healthcare centre located at S. Canaan Veng, Tuibong, Churachandpur.
In a press statement issued on August 15, 2026, the KSO said it was “bewildered and anguished” by the incident. According to the organisation, Central Security Forces entered the hospital while several critically ill patients were undergoing treatment and allegedly attempted to take away one patient.
The KSO claimed that bystanders obstructed the security forces on humanitarian grounds. It further alleged that the forces subsequently fired several rounds of live ammunition inside the hospital.
The organisation said the incident caused trauma among critically ill patients and their attendants, resulting in what it described as mental and physical health deterioration.
The KSO condemned the alleged action of the security forces in the strongest terms and called for clarification as to why such an incident occurred inside a hospital or clinic where a large number of critically ill patients were being treated.
The organisation also appealed to everyone to respect, regard and maintain the sanctity of life-saving clinics and hospitals.
The KSO warned that failure to heed its appeal would be met with a series of agitations.
