Miss Neiesther Dies After Longpi Attack, Family Mourns

Lamka, September 20, 2026: Miss Neiesther of Longpi village, who sustained severe injuries in an alleged attack by NSCN (IM), has died while undergoing treatment at District Hospital, Churachandpur.

Neiesther  had been receiving critical care in the hospital’s Tele-ICU following the attack. Despite medical treatment, she succumbed to her injuries.

Her family expressed deep sorrow over her death, describing her as a beloved niece, daughter and sister. Her passing has left her family and loved ones mourning the loss of a cherished member.
