THE Mizoram Presbyterian Church Synod (MPCS) has been reportedly vandalized by locals in Neihsial Veng, Ccpur, Manipur on the night of December 15, 2018 around 8:10pm.
According to police, a 30-year-old woman was injured and admitted in district hospital, and has been transferred to RIMS hosoital, Imphal.

An FIR has been filed by the local secretary of MPCS. Police apprehended Mr Doukhosat, chief of Neihsial Veng.
Sources said that when the news of his arrest alerted, some local villagers turned into violent and destroyed the church properties --keyboard (which costs Rs 60,000/-), sound system (Rs 30,000/-), 6 chairs, 2 drums, 1 almirah and number of benches. Bibles and song books were scattered disorderly.
