KHAMPAT,
a well-known town in Sagaing Division’s Tamu Township, Myanmar, is located
about 60 kms from Moreh, India’s border town.
On December 14, 2023, the Myanmar junta launched
an airstrike on Khampat, forcing civilians to flee and seek refuge in nearby
villages.
The world’s leaders must raise their voices against the Myanmar government’s relentless brutality toward its own people. The junta’s actions represent a grave violation of human rights and demand global condemnation.
