PRESS NOTE

Appropos to the Press Communique dated *18.10.2024* of the *Rongmei Naga Youth Organisation (RNYOM)* directing all *Kom Communities* to leave Rongmei jurisdiction within *48 hrs*, publishing in the social Medias and local news papers. In this regard, *KUM* is shocked and felt anguise the Press note of the so called *(RNYOM)* which is very unfortunate and unacceptable for all Kom Communities. As a matter of facts, the *KUM (Kom Union Manipur)* has no knowledge about the *matter/issue* between *Ichum Kom village* and the *Rongmei Naga Communities* under any circumstances.

In the light of the above facts, KUM (Kom Union Manipur) would like to urge to withdraw the Press Communique i.e. Quit Notice against all Kom Communities in the larger interest of all communities living in Manipur.
