On 12.12.2024, Manipur Police conducted poppy destruction at the hill range of Molham village under Kasom Khullen-PS, Kamjong District. About 10 acres of poppy plantation was destroyed.
Two poppy cultivators namely (i) Pamchuingam Rimai (30) and (ii) Lifeson Lanjha (27) from Leikoiching village were arrested.
From their possession, the following items were recovered:
i. 01 (one) Knife and
ii. 01 (one) side bag.
An FIR has been registered for further investigation.
