In a tragic incident, a 29-year-old youth was drowned in Tlawng river near Aizawl.
The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon (22 March) when the victim identified as Anthony Lalthlamuana, a resident of Bawngkawn South, was bathing with his friends in the river about 20 km from Aizawl.
His body will be taken to Lamka (Churachandpur) for the final rites.
