Lamhil Editorial Board of the Kuki Students' Organisation Delhi & NCR is thrilled to
announce the winners of the Canvas & Quill: Summer Talent Hunt that was conducted between 7h June - 5th July 2025. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the participants of the competition who, through their deep creativity in expressing themselves with the theme
"ROOTS," have further enriched and uplifted the artistic and literary world of our community. In addition, we congratulate all the category winners and wish them the best in their journey.
→ Category Winners:
1. Painting: Ka Inn by Chochoi Haokip
2. Short Story: "Village Life" by Lamkhogin Haokip
3. Poetry: "Soul of a Wanderer" by Douminlun Singsit.
→ Each category winner will receive:
* Cash prize of Rs.2000/-
* Certificate of achievement
The winning painting will be featured on the cover of Lamhil August issue
* The winning short story and poem will be published in Lamhil August issue
Prizes will be handed over to the winners during the upcoming Monsoon Lamhil
Event. Details of the event or any changes in arrangement will be personally notified to each winner. Further, we extend our gratitude to Mr. Paominen Lupheng, a renowned painter and Asia Star Icon Art Achiever Awardee 2022, for aiding us in evaluating the Painting category. Lastly, the board members are beyond grateful to (L) Lamnunthem Singson for her selfless act in sponsoring the monetary prize for all the categories; (L) Miss Singson's immense contribution for the artistic and literary world of our community will always be inspiring and remembered.
