Kuki Film Development Association (KUFIDA) is thrilled to learn that Gugun Kipgen (12) s/o Lutminthang Kipgen and Kimneichong Kipgen of Canaan Veng, North A.OC., Imphal has been nominated for the highest Indian film Award, IFFM(Indian Film Festival of Melbourne) 2025 on his remarkable performance as the lead role in Boong, a Manipuri feature film alongside well-known Indian actors including Abhishek Bachchan, Adarsh Gourav, Manoj Bajpayee, Mohanlal and others.
It truly is a moment of pride for the Kuki community marking an extraordinary achievement which is unprecedented. Gugun Kipgen has inspired countless fans with his performances, and this recognition is well-deserved.
