He served as the Secretary General of TSA-GHQ from 1972 to 1975, during which time he played a vital role as one of the reforming fathers of TSA-GHQ under the presidentship of Pu Khaikhotinthang Kipgen (MCS). During his tenure as General Secretary of Kuki Students' Organisation-GHQ (1971-73), KSO was transformed into TSA, preserving the dignity and identity of the Thadou people.

He began his teaching career at Keithelmanbi High School in 1972, which was later adopted as a government school in 1979, and served as a Graduate Teacher under the Government of Manipur until his retirement as DI/DDO Saitu under the Department of Education (S) in 2014.

He also served as General Secretary of Thadou-Kuki Literature Society from 1997 to 2006 and was instrumental in the formation of Thadou Inpi Manipur (erstwhile Thadou National Council, Manipur) in 1984. From 2009 to 2023, he faithfully served as the Governing Board Chairman of Ngulhao Theological Seminary, under the Thadou Baptist Association India, thereby transforming many lives through theological and moral education.

Till his last breath, Pu Dr. Seikholet Singsit stood firm for the cause of the Thadou people. His dedication, sacrifices, and contributions in education, literature, and community leadership will remain deeply cherished and will continue to inspire future generations.

The Thadou Students' Association – GHQ extends its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, relatives, and loved ones. We pray that the Almighty comforts and strengthens them in this time of sorrow. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
