Security Forces Intensify Operations in Manipur, Ensure Safe Passage for 116 Vehicles

Imphal, Aug 9: According to police, security forces in Manipur continue to conduct search operations and area domination exercises in fringe and vulnerable areas across various districts.

Authorities ensured the safe movement of 116 vehicles carrying essential items along National Highway-37. Strict security measures have been implemented in all vulnerable locations, with security convoys deployed on sensitive stretches to guarantee free and safe passage.

A total of 111 Nakas and checkpoints were set up across the hills and valley districts. Police reported that no individuals were detained during the checks.
