In the past months of August and September, the local armed allied forces carried out 'Hawk Operation' in Mawlaik Township and captured 6 SSPC military camps, namely Htawthar Pyusawhti camp, Awzeekhon camp, Nyaungwun village Pyusawhti Gate camp, Nawngping village camp, Narpin village camp, and Taungin village camp.
It is learned that the 'Hawk Operation' was carried out by the Mawlaik armed forces' allied forces, which include District Battalion 1, Battalion 2, Battalion 3, Battalion 4, Pah-Kah-Phah, and Pah-Lah-Phah. During the Operation, four people who were forcibly conscripted into the military were given money as a reward by the allied forces for joining the public with their weapons.
A person with responsibility from the Mawlaik armed forces said that during the fighting of this Operation, many SSPC soldiers were arrested and a lot of weapons were seized.
